Day 1: Breathing

We start our life with a breath and we finish it also with one!

We can stay with out food even for two months, with out water for days, but with out breathe only some minutes! I believe this is enough in order to name the breathe, the king of our bodily functions. So we grew up, we breath, we live and everything looks fine. But is it?

Unfortunately it is not. While we are growing we are going through different kind of (necessary and unnecessary) situations in order to learn what we need to and to adjust our selves in the environment that we are living. All these, often unnatural for our body things, causing to us a lot of stress. So through the years our body functions are changing, but since it is happening slowly we don’t realize it. What we realize as the years goes by, are the negative effects in our bodies. But since we don’t have the proper knowledge, we can not connect the problems that we have with their true reason. So we keep on searching in the wrong directions for help, but in vain. What we manage is to create even more difficulties.

Amazing, isn’t it? Yes it is. In the same way that our body has this amazing potential and manages to adjust its self, through all these that we are or we are not doing, in order to keep on.

Now since we all know how important the breathe is, can you imagine what will happen if we stop this shallow way of breathing, that we developed through time and we start breathing properly. The same thing that will happen if we repair an engine that because of a malfunction, instead of twelve carburetors is using only six!
The difference with us is that we are something more than a perfect machine. We are a union of material and spiritual things! Body, mind and spirit. Flesh, brain and heart. Actions, ideas and feelings. All of them are parts of the same circle! All of them affect each other! So if we improve one, all of them will be improved!

In order to do this we have to remind our body how to start to breath properly again! And this is something that can be learned easily. First by explaining you what we need and how to do it through specific movements. And then how to improve it by doing some simple breathing exercises. And in case you wish for more we can add a couple of more advantaged breathing exercises that will not only develop your breathing capability, but they’ll also increase the energy flow and the energy levels in your body.

So now you have the opportunity to achieve all of this easily. And remember, improper, shallow breathe, is damaging slowly your body. Many mental, emotional or physical problems could have their roots to poor breathing habits! Breath deeply and fill up your body with oxygen and energy! Sent enough fuel to each one of the billions of cells of your body and you will discover what feeling alive means!!
